OK, i have search and found some good info but need more clear pictures of where the hood pins should be mounted. This is a fiberglass pin on hood.
I have figured out that I will need to mount 2 of the pins on the radiator support area, should those be closer to the center or where the stock hood 'snubbers' were? (which is not the rad support...) And pix of how you mounted the pins for the rear section of the hood. I have seen an 'L' bracket made but would like more detail pix. Granted, this is not for a RR car, drag car, but you guys have to pin these hoods so know you have ideas. Thanks, SH |

Shon - Here is how I mount the front hood pins: For a FG hood I add a second pair on the core support further inboard. The lip of the core support is quite thin so I reinforce it with 6061 angle popped to the sheet metal with 3/16" SS rivets. Jules 4th gen:
