OK, i have search and found some good info but need more clear pictures of where the hood pins should be mounted. This is a fiberglass pin on hood.
I have figured out that I will need to mount 2 of the pins on the radiator support area, should those be closer to the center or where the stock hood 'snubbers' were? (which is not the rad support...) And pix of how you mounted the pins for the rear section of the hood. I have seen an 'L' bracket made but would like more detail pix. Granted, this is not for a RR car, drag car, but you guys have to pin these hoods so know you have ideas. Thanks, SH |

Here's a topside pic - my ITE/AIX car: This is my first composite hood - this one is fiberglass on coremat, and is sturdy, but required some backside bracing that pushed the weight up to about 20#. My CF version is less than 1/2 the weight. Middle rear pins are mounted on a Hotchkiss STB.
