So Guys what you think of running e85 vs. race gas? then e85 vs. pump on the street? Is it much better. They say it pollutes a lot less. so i guess it could also help pass emissions. Opinion guys. I personally have never used it would be nice idea since i can tune the car for the e85

Notice how GM has failed to mention the MPG for E85......
If I recall (and correct me if I'm wrong), the A/F ratio on straight alcohol is in the 7.5:1 range. I'm sure the 15% gasoline helps that a little, but I'd like to know what 20 mpg on gas would equate to in E85. I'm betting 11-13. |
