Howdy,
http://www.maracing.com/wheels/ Folks, the camera hobby is overtaking my need to keep these wheels/tires I bought from Kevin a while back. I got them because they were a good deal and I figured I might want to use them. So far, no plans to do so, I'm still playing with the car on 17x9.5's and probably will continue to do so for track stuff. On the other hand, I really want to go buy a Sigma 70-200 lens for my canon... :-) So they're for sale. These are the normal silver replicas, 17x11, straight/true, a couple cone marks, etc. They currently have some nearly gone 315 s04's on them. I'd like to get $550, not including shipping. In a week and a half, I'll be heading out to the Peru Tour and can deliver anywhere between here and there. If you want just the wheels, I can remove the tires to save on shipping costs, but the price is still $550. Email me at mark at sccaprepared dot com. Thanks! are you thinking on the 70-200 f/2.8 version of the lense ?
Some to consider, are also the Sigma 100-300 f/4 (roughly same price as the above mentionned lense) If budget allows, there is also the Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 (which is pricier... but great lense) I have a 80-200 f/2.8 and love it.... having a 120-300 would be nicer, though... especially for sporting events. |

Yeah, AFAIK, Sigma only makes the f/2.8 version of the 70-200... I'm not sure what I want to do. Looking around more, Canon also has a consumer grade 100-300 with ring USM. That might be a nice budget way to go. The 100-300 f/4 is also about the same cost as the 70-200 f/2.8 w/1.4 TC... I think I'd rather do the latter if I go that way. I'm still not sure what reach I'm going to want for track stuff. For autox, I think I want the ability to get to 300mm. Who knows. But ultimately... I'd rather have a lens than these wheels/tires! :-) Mark |

As much as you can afford (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I shoot with a cheap Tokina 24-200mm on a Digital Rebel and even with the 1.6 crop factor its not really enough on a smaller autocross lot. |
