I thought the owner was giving me a hard time because he knows the F40 is my favorite car of all time. But when we got to the start line he said "Dude!, I waited from 5am to 520am for you to come down and you never showed up". Advanced Member Group: Advanced Members Posts: 827 Joined: 30-December 03 From: Bellevue WA Member No.: 73	Had a great run at the 06 Nevada Open Road Challenge running in the 170mph average speed class. I was navigating for a buddy of mine for the run in his corvette. We missed out target mph by .03 mph and the target time by .3 of a second. good enough to bring home the 1st place hardware in the 170 class. Everyone said that if you can get inside of 5 seconds in the 170 class we would be doing pretty good. So I guess we did damn good. I am still pretty amped about the whole thing but cruising down that road at 195-200mph really makes you understand what the word "mortality" means. This was the first event in 9 events that Jeff(driver) had finished so he was REALLY excited. I got a ton of pictures here if you want to see them. I also got the whole run on digital video, I just need to get it transfered to my lap top.
