Announcing Group Purchase pricing on Blaine Fab's Lexan rear spoiler: The spoiler replaces the OEM spoiler for approx 7# weight saving. All hardware is stainless steel and aluminum. Angle of spoiler is adjustable from approx straight up to approx 45deg layback. Adjustment is accomplished without use of tools. The spoiler is mounted by drilling 10 holes thru the rear of the decklid, and bolting it on. The RR version has been proven on ITE, AI and CMC cars.
Normal pricing (prices do not include shipping or CA sales tax for deliveries in CA) on the BF spoiler is: Open Road Race 5" $390 Road Race 7.5" $400 Prepared autox 10" $430 For this GP, for a total of 3 to 5 sales (combined any version) I will drop the prices 15%, ie: Open Road Race 5" $332 Road Race 7.5" $340 Prepared autox 10" $366 If the GP generates a total of 6 or more sales (combined any version) I will drop the prices 20%, ie: Open Road Race 5" $312 Road Race 7.5" $320 Prepared autox 10" $344 I will leave the GP open for 10days, please post interest or questions on this thread. For a firm order, please PM me or email me at ablaine (at) cruzio (dot) com, or call the shop at 831 427-3296. Here is the spoiler on a 94 T/A: (IMG:http://www.geckoranch.com/cars/images/spoilerbig.jpg) And on a 4th gen Camaro: (IMG:http://gallery.noid.org/albums/album23/Picture_006.sized.jpg) Thanks and regards, Alan Blaine Blaine Fabrication This post has been edited by Blainefab: Apr 6 2006, 11:35 AM |

Step 1 - Install Blaine Fab spoiler Friday night between 6:00 and 6:30
Step 2 - Drive to Willow Springs Saturday morning Step 3 - Collect one gold and one silver medal for the weekend of racing (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Sure, it could happen to you too, and I'm sure other factors were involved other than the spoiler, but let me tell you, I'm one happy camper with this thing installed. It literally took me 30 minutes to get the old one off and this one bolted on. And I'm very happily surprised with the adjustability. 1-2 full twists of the turnbuckles made a noticeable difference. I went on track 1st time with an eye-balled adjustment (made it look pretty). Now, my car pushes like a pig, and the first session proved that. A couple of twists to lower the new spoiler, viola, more neutral. How easy is that? Granted, we were at a real high speed course (2.5 mi Willow Springs - 90+ mph avg lap speed), but I'm more than happy with this purchase. Damn, ain't that the truth! Here is a pic of how I handled the holes left by the install. Alan gives you the cover up discs but I like this better. I cut the old spoiler and taped it over with white race tape. It worked mucho bueno at 164mph. (IMG:http://www.texasinterceptors.com/images/ff_spoiler.jpg) YMMV, FWIW --yada yada yada (IMG:http://www.texasinterceptors.com/images/ff_b4c_speed.jpg) This is the car at 145mph- Northbound BBORR 2006. Rake looks pretty good to me and felt *comfortable* at this speed. I could not tell that these filler pieces altered the performance, And yep, that is a Blaine Fab sticker on the car. It is on there for the same reason the FRRAX sticker is on the front corners. There is a debt owing for all the primo info we get here. This post has been edited by AndyJ: May 9 2006, 06:32 AM |
