Honestly, I follow the 1st Amendment to the letter. I think that everyone should be allowed to express their opinions. But, when I disagree with them (vehemently, sometimes), they need to realize that I'm doing the same as them. If we can both do it amicably - great. If they get mad and upset, then I'll get mad and upset. For instance, when I see someone burning a flag, I figure that it is their right to burn what they perceive as the symbol of American government corruption. Conversely, I expect them to not get mad when I set fire to what I perceive to be the symbol of their civil disobedience . . . which is usually their unwashed hair or a peace-symbol t-shirt that they are wearing.
