I wanted to say thank you to Eugenio and his wonderful wife for allowing us to come up and visit the igloo for a few days. My wife and I just returned to the states from the "Great White North" and a Canadian mini vacation that was entirely too short (though Eugenio's wife may not think so (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ).

After Eugenio came to Ohio last year for his 36 hour US vacation and express Porsche brake install, I promised him that I'd come up one day. And I was almost right, I came up two days. We saw lots of neat stuff in Montreal and I realized that my awful French is actually far worse than that (I knew I should have gone to class). Eugenio and Mrs. Eugenio (name withheld to protect the innocent) ignored the fact that we couldn't speak the language and kept us out of trouble (protecting us from ourselves mostly).

I also learned that Eugenio lied to us, he really does live in an igloo and drive a dog sled to work...... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/bs.gif)

Also, his car isn't fast.....

It's really, really fast!!!! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif)

Thanks for the test drive (now I have to spend money (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif) ).

And I'm sure that Eugenio will now think of me every time he drives by "Mon-shure" Muffler. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

We had a great time and appreciated everything and all of your hospitality. You're both welcome in Ohio anytime!!!

Can't compare the fever of Montreal-F1 and Indy-F1 where ppl don't care much for it, where ppl are more of a Nascar, cart fans.
F1 is a lifestyle here... same goes for hockey.
some businesses operate all year round based on the profits done during F1 week, such as the official F1 provider downtown...
Plus, as you heard it when @ Mt-Tremblant, the Ferrari's were from all over the place having fun @ the track, lapping... on Tommy Hilfigger track.
This week, part of downtown is mobilised for Ferraris and supercars being exposed on the streets... it's gets busier than TimeSquare.
friday through sunday, it's so much fun and so many ppl go to the track.
friday = warm-ups/tune
saturday = qualifications
sunday = race

We lapped the track, so you see that it's quite intriguing and not so obvious... very technical, and lots of blind spots (too much, imho)

Check the race out on sunday and compare it to the experience you had @ Indy... then imagine being here... there's still time. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)

as for the flies, i told you there was a possibility of facing them and one would know when they bite, since they litterally rip part of flesh and leave you bleading with a weight reduction program... i just can't imagine the day those become epidemic... ppl would die from them.
It's a nasty and huge bite, but like a mosquito bite, it goes away... just don't scratch (easier said than done)

As for the president... no thanks... I'm sure he'll get egged and they would turn-over the government if he was in power here. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)
We already have our problems with our Prime-Minister + ministers. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)

So Kevin, how you think the way the police force is handling street-racing here ?
At least it seems they are trying to educate the ppl to go to the track (only time will tell)

might as well hijack this thread.
I'd like to thank Kevin for allowing me to save $ on duties and taxes.
Thanks for bringing all those parts and camera gear.
looking forward to have all the car parts installed.
