Copied from a member of my SCCA region:
If anyone sees or hears about a black FSCCA (chassis 24, The car number is 98 in white lettering) or anything of the such please let me know as mine with the trailer were stolen from the Sterling area in Illinois over the weekend. The trailer is a plain white Haulmark Transport dual axle 14' by 7' (under 3000 lbs) with no markings or graphics. It has swing open doors in the back not a ramp door. The inside has white painted walls with a gray epoxy painted floor and a tire rack on the left side wall. The wheels stick outside the trailer with black fenders. The rims are standard white steel spokes. Thanks, Tony Specht (ajspecht@msn.com) I guess Wisconsin is the hot place to dump a trailer, and that's not more than 90 minutes from here, so if anyone comes across this, let him know. |

QUOTE bring them to Texas for justice and that should take care of it. Glad to hear you got the trailer and car back. Not always true... My 1979 Z28 was stolen in 1983 while a friend and I were at Six Flags over Texas in Houston. My car was the second car stolen that day by a certain individual. He wrecked it when the cops gave chase. He made bail and stole a THIRD car, and when he was caught then and only then did the system finally put the bail out of reach. He was found guilty of all three counts, and was eligible for 2 years per count. However, the judge ran the sentences concurrently and the individual was up for parole in six months. Other than the death penalty, I'm not impressed with Texas justice... |
