I've had to let a Mini Cooper S go by on the straight at Summit Point just so I wouldn't hold him up around the rest of the track.

I've been blasted my a Mini on an AutoX (cool guy to talk with).

Now I've joined the Mini ranks and this lil non S is the coolest thing for me on the street.
It will corner with no fear on the street.
It will exclerate anywhere in a turn.
It will stop on a dime.
Costs about 5K less than my stipper 02Z28.

Its taking a little getting used to the size and the uhhh how to say it. Maybe ...the girlish mystic.

But once your in its a kart (not a powerful shifter kart) but still a kart.

Kinda feel refreshed from the white knuckle driving.

We had a '74 2002 that was much the same. Probably similar power to weight ratio. You could never take your foot off the gas, but you never had to, since you could take pretty much every turn flat.

Congrats on the purchase. They're a blast to drive.
