Does anyone know of a website where I can ask questions pertaining to setting up a car for LSR racing? I bought a rulebook from the SCTA but need some questions answered, (or opinions given), regarding car set up, particularly transmissions. I'm considering setting that ITA Olds I have for ECTA/SCTA events. I need to know what I'm up against before jumping in. ANY help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply. The ECTA is really capable of running just about anything with some safety equipment.
If your serious on SCTA, do some essential safety equipment and bring it to a ECTA event and they will walk you through what you need. Keith Turk and some others can really help with needed items for tech on the Salt. It would blow to get er done and drag er out and get turned around at Tech on the salt. My brothers is crewing on the salt right now for an ole blown flat headed roadster that did 212mph yesterday and will follow up today for the 200club. I'd be happy to help any way possible and help crew if you need it (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) . Need a 500 CID Cad Motor to push it? |
