I finally got my Opti in Monday and installed it.
It was nice to hear it start up again. But it wouldn't idle. So I changed the drivers side plugs. Still wouldn't idle so I kept it running and burnt out some of the old nast gas on the passenger side plugs. Will idle just fine. I just need to change the other side and she'll be running like a champ!! This makes me feel REALLY, REALLY GOOD. Long story short, I've been frustrated lately because my Truck. One busted heater hose fitting (right at the intake no less) and a bad water pump all in one week had me UN happy with my autos. |

QUOTE (mjf454 @ Mar 17 2004, 06:53 PM) Glad to hear it's alive again. On a LT1 is there any way to eliminate the opti and use some other form of ignition? You would need to go to something like an Electromotive EFI/ignition setup. That is the only way I know. |
