I can't get my Sony DCR-TRV140 to import videos into Windows Movie Maker with sound anymore.--Only the Sony Pixela software gives sound, but the files are gigantic and crappy. I have a standalone DVD recorder that I can use with the TV to make videos, but not back to the computer.
Is there any cheap/easy software for me to import and edit some of my videos from the camera AND/OR allow me to convert the clips (.VOB) I put on DVD back to a .mpeg or something to share online? This post has been edited by Teutonic Speedracer: Aug 22 2006, 10:17 PM |

A trick I've learned ...
Take the largest of the VOB files, copy to your local HD, change the extension from VOB to MPG and window Media player will play it. Compression algorythm sucks, but it's playable ... |
