My house is on top of a hill so we'll be safe, but we are completely surrounded by floodwater higher than I've ever seen it (came up FAST). It's still a few inches short of the record, but more rain is coming. I'm amazed the power company hasn't cut us off yet, since the lines go through the flooded neighborhood at the bottom of the hill.
I probably won't be going anywhere for a few days, though I suspect I'll be able to get out just in time to go to work Monday morning (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Maybe I'll have time to do a lot more on the car than I planned this weekend, but first I think I'll dust off the generator (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Oh ... and the new bridge that was rebuilt higher after the last flood still isn't high enough (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) This post has been edited by sgarnett: Sep 23 2006, 03:58 PM |

Wow Sean, be careful up there and stay dry. I guess it might be a very good weekend to work on the car. I hope you have enough to do.
