I had planned to get up at 5 and go to Best Buy for the $179 Panasonic MiniDV camera (regularly $350), but after watching the evening news which depicted a bunch of people waiting outside a Best Buy the NIGHT BEFORE, I decided it was hopeless. So, I decided I would just go whenever I woke up and if there weren't any left, so be it.
So, next morning, I wake up just before 6. I get in the car and I'm there at 6:15. Place was a mob scene. I go over to the video camera section, see about 20 people in line and ask about the camcorder on special. They had 8 left even then! I couldn't believe it. If I had stuck to my 5:00 plan I would have got one for sure (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/gr_cry.gif) |
