I'm looking for an aftermarket seat. I can no longer stand the OE seat, especially for road trips. Of prime concern is head room (I'm 6'2") and seat base width. I have sat in Mike Farrell's car and liked his seat (Mike chime in with your brand, I have CRS) but want to know other's setups. Also, costs, ease of installation, etc. Post pictures if you have them! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
TIA, Rob |

I bought a set of Corbeau TRS "Wide" seats for my 2002. When I installed them, I lost almost an inch of headroom (I'm 5'11" and that was bad enough) and the bottom of the seat was "flat", parallel with the floor. Everytime I hit the brakes, I slid until the belt caught me. I kept them in the car for less than 2 weeks before I sold them and lost $250 on the deal (about what the restocking fees would have been and shipping costs). So, that was a brief, but expensive lesson. I think I'm going to look for cloth seats from a Trans Am and just use those.
