I'm looking for an aftermarket seat. I can no longer stand the OE seat, especially for road trips. Of prime concern is head room (I'm 6'2") and seat base width. I have sat in Mike Farrell's car and liked his seat (Mike chime in with your brand, I have CRS) but want to know other's setups. Also, costs, ease of installation, etc. Post pictures if you have them! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I installed a Recaro SRD yesterday. Fits nice and seems OK so far; only drove to work. Seems like it will be easier then most race seats to live with, ie: getting in/out of the car.
I mounted it using a Corbeau bracket for the 4th gen. I made a couple pieces of steel to adapt the bracket to the seat. So far seems solid. I think I gained some headroom vs. the stock seat. I need to figure something out to guide the shoulder harness on the seat. Right now it's riding on my neck. I'm not sure if there is anything solid in the side of the headrest to screw the guide into. Seems like it is just made of styrofoam or something judging by the way it squeeks under the fabric.
