Yep, here is an opportunity to start the race and track season in good form: Nice red calipers and they are pre loaded with PFC race pads.

C5 brakes are false economy compared to 996TT brakes. There was a time where I would kill a set of NAPA C5 rotors and a pair of Carbotech XP's in a weekend. A heavy car with some horsepower and fat tires is hard on brakes. After swapping to 996TT brakes, the rotors and PF 01's have three weekends, and are just broken in.
Mitch got 10 or 11 weekends on a used set from Kevin's car. These brakes will pay for themselves over time, not counting the time they will save you wrenching on the car. This post has been edited by 98_1LE: Feb 11 2007, 06:50 AM |
