I ordered my rubber ends for the LCAs I am building. (two 002-31865L's) I received a 002-31865L and a 002-31865R... I got them in two days after I placed my order, though. On the invoice says 2 002-31865Ls.... Would you expect them to exchange the parts?

Hell yeah, I'd expect them to change the parts! If they don't, take your business elsewhere. It's not like you bought them two years ago and now are claiming you got the wrong part.
