Been workin on my car for the last few days, tryin to get ready for hpde on the 19th. I swear everytime I work on it, the most simple tasks seem to cause so much headache! I waited two weeks for my custom rotors to come in for my 996 brakes. Went to finish the install tonight and the damn things won't fit! The hub center is too small. I thought coleman screwed up, but I picked up the ring from the original setup and it won't fit either. There's a little rust on the hub, but I don't think its thick enough to cause this. Are the porsche rotors with the ring installed supposed to be really tight? As in so tight it takes a dead blow hammer to put them on? Or is my car some kinda bastard with off the wall hubs? Guess I should have tried the ring before sending the rotor/spacer/ring to be used, but I assumed with all these kits out there it would be fine. Sorry for this useless post, just needed to vent a little!
