I know it sounds crazy, but I've seen this stuff work.

There is now a push to get these "coatings" in all gear boxes and drive assemblies at the nuke plant where I work because oil analysis has proven that the amount of metal wear is significantly reduced.

Efficiency is up, heat is not an issue and longevity is 5 time longer than previous maintenance history.

I was thinking about having my ring and pinion coated and going to a lighter weight rear diff oil. I am also considering having all the brake guide pins done ...
