Why sell anything and everything like the sink and toilets? I am a desperate man with no job. My wife and I decided since my job had no health ins that I was the lucky winner to stay home with the kids. I won but lost my toy fun money. So please help a needy man with money as I am one project under. The 77 Malibu beast needs a drive shaft and headers or else my wife may sell it from under me. Now I gotta figure out what I owe Kevin for hauling them across several states and storage. I typically charge two rear Koni DA's for shipping and storage..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif) Uh, you buy the first round in Nashville (and I might need a floor to sleep on for me and possibly a friend)? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/drink.gif) And, for anyone interested, Dan's car is beautiful. If you're looking for a clean no options (except the shifter) car, this one should be towards the top of your list, it's very clean and quite nice. I've seen it in person. |

The cat is out of the bag now. Kevin has been invited to drive the ORR car at the Sandhills Open Road Challenge in Arnold,NE the first part of August. SORC Link I haven't made this race before but it is the shortest of all ORR races at 55 miles and the course record is only a little over 130mph. It is technical and twisty on some narrow ass 2 lane blacktop Nebraska farm roads. The nature of this course is the main reason for all the suspension upgrades to the car that are going on now. Here is some video --not mine-- of a NEXTEL car running the SORC course. SORC on YouTube Anyway, we will see what happens in Nashville. Kevin will get a chance to thrash the car a little in its' new configuration and if it meets his expectations, we will most likely go for Nebraska with me in the Navi seat. |

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/drink.gif) Jeff Creech AKA Milkman beat you to the punch just a little. He has dibs on the bus couch -- if the sorry so and so shows. Seriously though, I am coming by myself so there will be some extra room, satellite TV, cold A/C and hot showers if they have a dump station to dump the gray tank. Don't forget I also have an enclosed trailer if you have a sleeping bag or cot. We will have plenty of adult beverages on board --- no doubt about that and even a little food. I just realized Nashville is only 3 weeks away and the car is sitting in pieces on the lift. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/excl.gif) |
