I had my wife sold on my sale of the 02Z and purchase of a 95TA that is banged up but only 60K miles. The cost of the car and 1/4 panel would have put me in a great position for a decent dedicated track day car and autoX and Maxton vehicle. But thanks to my friends 4 wheeler accident in feb with no helmet she is not sold on me playing with cars. She even worried about me running a non S mini (daily driver) at Maxton NC. What a joke the thing would've gained more mph with a tailwind than an Smodel and no tailwind. Oh well back to the plan of finishing the drag racer and going drag racing (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) . I guess this means I gotta learn to like bud now and chew (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) . Sorry for the aimless rant. |

Dan, Tell her that, unlike your friend, you'll be wearing a helmet and safety gear. And, you can get killed crossing the street.... |

Dan, Maxton should be similar to the Texas Mile and it was a piece of cake. I always 'overdress' both myself and the car when it comes to the Safety part. |
