Congrats to Sam and Glenn/Mitch on this great exposure. Hopefully this will bring even more peeps to this great site, as well as bringing more business to ALL of you!!

Glenn/Mitch; that is one SANO race car you've built/got there!!! Waaay better than I would have expected it to look. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif)

I guess the CMC rules do not let you tie the cage into the "shock towers"??

That`s great Glenn & Sam!
Sam, is that a trailer hitch on your ride?

Is that legal in your class? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I believe Sam is running a hitch for a tire trailer and it's legal as long as it does nothing else..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif)

the cage rules are pretty resticted. there is a provision in the rules regarding shock towers and the cage, but its almost impossible to do w/ the brake booster and motor location.

thanks for the complementson the car. its been almost 3 years straight of solid racing (3 month off season) so its hard keeping it that way. the car has about 63 races on it plus quals and test/practice. its probaply seen almost 100 20 minute sessions.

By rule, we have to run the stock booster and master cylinder in the stock location. So, getting a bar in there and one that would do some real good is next to impossible.

Glenn's description of his track time got me to thinking ... (double check my math ... I graduated from a Texas High School)

100 20 minute races, qualifiers and practice sessions is 2000 minutes of track time. I think 100 is rather conservative, but ....

Using 75 seconds as a mean AX run, that would be like 1600 AX runs in 3 years.

1600 AX runs over a 3 year period would be 530 runs per year or ~ 10 runs a week, every week.

That's like 2 events a week, 52 weeks a year for 3 years, dodging cones, curbs, cars and competitors cars all the while.

Anybody see the November issue yet?

Sam, lately you've been getting more press time than Britney Spears. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
