There is an auto-x event tomorrow, and I put a new battery in the SS. I went to drive it around and caught two huge sheetmetal screws in my front tires somehow. I mean the heads on the thing are half an inch across.

Does anyone have some 275 Nittos or anything in the area that I can borrow, on some wheels? I'll give you a little cash, I just want to race! I just need two wheels/tires for the front for the event tomorrow. I will go insane if I don't get some racing in. I will drive the Astro Van on the course if I can't find some tires.

Thanks!

Admins/Mods, I'll delete this after tonight.

Sorry Kyle, I don't have anything except for my bald street tires and the Kuhmos.

......glad to hear the car is up and running though.

Chuck got me all set up. I can't believe how helpful and caring racers like us are towards one another. If I asked a drag racer if I could borrow some tires, and we were racing in the same class, I'm pretty sure they would laugh pretty hard at such a request.

I tried to delete this thread but it appears we don't have rights to on this board.

Mods/admins, you can delete this post if you want. Thanks again to Chuck and Andrew, they are the best!

I feel very fortunate to have a core group of enthusiasts around.

I have yet to be in a bind when one or more came to my aid.

Longer....not long. As if to inquire as to the status of hell month and it's expected completion date.

Geez.....
