Just wondering how many of you are in my neighborhood? I live on the border of North Central IL, and South Central WI. I have an 83 Z-28 that I am hoping to have ready for NASA CMC competition in the Midwest Region for 2008. |

I'm in the SW Chicago 'burbs and might have some things you can use. If you need a factory fiberglass hood, I've got one that needs like a 6" x 3" piece repaired in the RF corner. Not sure what your motor plans are, but I have a TPI setup and factory wiring harness (gutted of non-essentials) I just pulled off, if you're building an EFI motor. I've got an external EFI pump too if you're putting a fuel cell in it. I'm going carb. Let me know if you're looking for anything else, I might have it. |

I am the one with Sidney Franklin's old Camaro. I all ready have a fg hood. I have a 305 that I'll be building after my football team (Stateline Hawks) gets done with the season, we have home field advantage for the playoffs. I will be going with a carb also. I have a a lot of stuff for some one looking to get started. I can help with also. The only thing that I am in serious need for is the Spohn T-5 cross member with the drive shaft loop. The T-56 version came with the car, pus I have other LS-1 odds and ends if someone is looking. I would like to clear some of these parts out of my garage. Do not mean for this sound like a for sale ad so I'll stop. Trading is a good thing. |

Gotcha. Why do you need the Spohn x-member? You can't use an aftermarket torque arm so you're better off just using a stock x-member and either make a loop or buy one. I've got a Jegster loop that I sectioned in 1" so the loop was taller to get rid of a driveshaft rub. Just an idea.

In that case, all 700R4/T5 x-members are the same.

I'm from Janesville.... But only have dreams of CMC, I'll be sticking to High-Speed Auto cross for a while. Do you ever run at Blackhawk Farms or Autobahn CC (I realize not in CMC)? |

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) There is no fun in that, beatin' up a poor defenseless Fox body, anybody can do that. I hear he is building a new car, wierd though he isn't building a world beating 4th gen but a SN95. Hmmmm... |

Yes I have ran Blackhawk, but only been to Auto Bahn. I even ran the wreckers and Ambulances for their test runs before the season when I worked at Auto Concepts from 2001 to 2002. I wished more folks could afford GT-1 cars, I'd still be there. You want to get together sometime, give me a call, (608) 364-4191. I might have some stuff you would be interested in. Nape, Darn! You're right. I reread the rules. I have all the stock pieces. Now I have a complete LS-1 conversion kit to find a new home for. Time to take pics and list them in the Classified section. |

I'm NW of chicago. race a specmiata, also have a '94 z28. I'm thinking about running the z28 in TT some. I ran at autobahn last week with MC, a little more fun than 115 HP.
