I didn't want to clutter up Randy's rebuild post so I started this one
from Mitch:

QUOTE
www.certifit.com

Fenders $44 each
Hood $156
Bumper cover $62

Those are LIST pricing. We've been quoted about 15% off of that.

So Mitch, Glen or anyone, have you seen these parts in person? Do they weigh the same (or less!) than OEM? Is the fit and finish sufficient for a track car?
The prices for camaro parts are unbelievable, of course the firebird pieces are 1.5 to 2x the cost as the chevrolet. :0
... and they don't have bumper covers or head light covers for the 4th gen bird grrrrrr

Glenn has ... he's the one that turned me onto them.

The cost difference between Camaro and Firebird is robbery. It's almost worth the price to convert to a Camaro front clip.

one fender (drivers side) and the nose of my car have parts from them. Camaro stuff is cheap but seems to fit well enough for a track car. best part, they are rubber (fenders) not plastic and will not crack.
i'll be hitting them up for a few parts this off season. the OK City store will ship, the DFW store will not.
firebird parts are limited.

I have heard that the corners and edges are "sharp" .....ie near the top of the fender where it meets the hood....but not the rubber part. I LIKE that.....my car can be like a Spec Miata now.....

Thanks for the info. Glenn, I talked to you briefly about it this past weekend but I should have looked at the parts on your car.
as far as a cambird hybrid goes, since LAW has multiple spare parts, have you tried just hanging a camaro fender on a 'bird? I remember thinking that the shape of the leading edge of the door wouldn't match the camaro fender very well at all. Not to mention the ridge or crease that is present on the pontiac door. But that was just eye balling the my two cars as they sit side by side in the garage.
Also, seems they have a San Antonio location. So about a 1.5 hr trip is doable for aprts.

Hahaha, where in the world did you find those pics Morgan?

I think it would make a nice CMC car, and certainly a new meaning to Camarobird.

So how does this place do business? Do they only sell through their stores, or do they do mail order too?
I hit a deer with my 96 Jimmy a few weeks ago, and need a grille and a rad support. Their prices are barely a fraction of local salvage yards, but the closest stores to me are Cleveland and Baltimore. I live in between the two cites, about 3 1/2 hrs either way. I guess I could call the stores themselves, but I was wondering how you guys were buying stuff from them. If given the choice, I would rather do mail order

Some are over the counter only and others will ship.

Only way to know, it appears, is to call.

Please post the results.

A little more searching of the site, and I found the answer to my question. If you go to "Locations" on the home page, you'll see all the red dots showing their stores nationwide. Each red dot is a link to that store's information. Those pages will show you the store's address, phone number, hours of business, and services offered. For Cleveland and Baltimore, services offered are listed as "counter only". For Charlotte, NC, services offered are listed as counter, local delivery, and extended delivery. But that only means surrounding areas. When I clicked on St. Paul Minn, it showed "shipping" as an option for services offered.
I will call the St Paul store and get a total price w/shipping.

*edit 15 min later*
They had the parts in stock for the same prices as listed in the online catalog, but wouldn't ship to PA. Said the parts were too big to ship that far. Oh well. Guess I'll call more places locally.
