I got both sets of my AFS wheels on ebay, but lately it seems harder to get a good deal on them.

....tell me about it.....no 17 x 11's in the country right now....damn....if I didn't have BAD timing, I would have NO timing at all

It appears that only the 17x11's in black are (and have been) available for some time, according to AFS's eBay auctions.

I purchased mine through eBay. If you can wait a few months, I'd do so - I got two sets of 17x9.5's and 17x11's for a combined price of $900, shipped. A little high compared to some (looks at Jon) but as good as I could get.

Of course, the 11's are forming a table right now, as I don't have the money for tires or the time to roll the fender (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Has AFS ever had an auction for 4 17x9.5 in a 38mm offset or all most of them the 9.5 and 11 combo.

I don't think I've come across that, but I was always looking for the 11 set. Thing is, they sell them as matched sets for the vehicle (84-87 Corvette, in this case), so I don't think you'd find the 38 9.5's as a set of four. Sorry (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I'll let mine go for new A3S03's to fit on the 11's...

Yeah I noticed that and I have emailed them about that as well to see if I could get a price quote on a set of these.

Whats the biggest difference between the OE and AFS wheel? Weight? More durable over the other?

For the longest time (last year anyway), that was all they had for a set pf 17x9.5". I e-mailed them and asked if I can swapped them with a set with 56mm, they wouldn't do it. Finally I snagged a set of 56 mm for $480 with $75 s/h.

From what I hear....they ARE ALL MADE in China or Korea, and there is only one manufacturer now....so...no matter where you get them....

just repeating hearsay though...
