Tomorrow I will put on my '97 Trans-am's summer shoes, Kumho Victoracers on 17"x9.5" Borbet type Ts! With all the mods this car has, I can pretty much floor it out of any turn from a stop. This is always good for a giggle. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Last summer the local police saw me do this and then backed off once they saw I was ending up at the speed limit.. it was the Borla that gave me away, not tire squeal!! Most of them know me and think the car is really cool; they also know I respect the speed limits. One of the nice things about living in a small town.

Originally when I bought these wheels and tires (used from a buddy) I was thinking I would hit the local autoxes here in the Sacramento area. Unfortunately the autox groups have all lost their venues here for various reasons and the nearest is minimum an hour away (San Francisco, Sears Pt. or Stockton). I can't believe that the Sacramento area, a big area, does not have a single place for autox!
