I want to replace my longacre buttugly steering wheel.
I do like its dimensions though. 13" with some dish.
It also has 3"s of spacers so a replacement with more dish the better.
I'm 6'4" and most of it is legs so I'm practically driving from the rear seat.
The cheapest new wheel I've found is $175.
This is a little rich for me plus it has the Ford Racing logo on it.
(same one as the FR500S racecar)

Yes, been watching fleEbay.
Any dealers or sponsors on here with a deal?
Must be black suede covered.

Thx,
jb

Howdy,

If you find something, post it!

Hell, for a little less money, it can have a Yugo logo on it... :-)

I can do $190 + shipping on the Momo Mod 78: http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/index.php?showtopic=12242,
but the 6hole to 3 hole adapter is another $45, and then a spacer, too, since the Momo is flat.

Have you tried taking your wheel to an upholstery shop and asking them to glue black suede on it? That is how the Momo is made, just gotta get the right adhesive and someone that cares about fitting the leather well.

Thx AB,

the longacre has a suedo-suede-textured-rubber-dipped coating that is adequate.
I actually like the wheel it's just ugly and people make fun of it/me.

thx,
jb
