I have the following for sale, haven't really thought much about price yet. Anyone interested?

The parts have 56k miles on them and ran great when I broke down the motor.

1 set cylinder heads.

1 set (8) pistons and rods.

1 cam shaft

I also have the following NEW parts . These were bought because originaly I was going to put a cam and new valve train in the stock heads and lower end.

Comp cam custom grind cam 218/224 112 lobe sep.

Comp cams valve locks

Comp cam springs

Comp Cam steel retainers

Comp Cam spring seats

GM extreme duty timing chain, NEW, As you all probably know, this is a $400 part. My engine builder decided not to use it because I am running an electric water pump and also the cam we have did not match the gear properly or something like that.

What will a set of stock heads fetch anyhow? Seems like there's some demand, and we've got a couple in a box in the garage collecting dust (and taking up space).

To be honest, I don't really know. And I don't really care how many miles are on them either, I'm going to have them sent to Lloyd Elliot for a little head work anyway...

I was looking on Ebay and it looks like they go anywere from 200 to 350. hard to tell though.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=33617

These are basicaly the exact same thing for 250 with 9 days to go.

These heads are just like they came off the car with 56000 miles. I am not going to brake down the valves and springs. It's all or nothing. The car had absolutely no problems when I broke it down to begin my prodject. But I what it known that I take no responsibility for these. There is no way thought that there could be anything wrong with them.

PM your offers with you paying the shipping.

I'm very busy right know but I will get back as soon as possible.

Thanks for the interest
Steve

$250 is the average price for used LT1 heads. $300+ would make sense if they are particularly low mileage. $200 is unusually cheap. I just bought a set of used LT1 heads and was doing some shopping around the boards.

I bought a complete LT1 engine - intake to oil pan for $500 that had LLoyd Elliot ported heads and then sold my stock heads with 50k for $200 and intake for $100.

On Ebay you might get a little more, but on Camaroz28.com they sell from $150 -$200 almost daily.

BTW.. How much for the stock pistons & rods?
