Pictures and some stats found HERE.

Basically it's been stripped of everything not needed and setup like an A/S car for a fun track day. A basic rollbar welded in & 5 pt harnesses installed on both sides.

Currently under the hood is a Mr. Goodwrench 350 (back-up engine), with an SLP plenum and runners, on top of an Edelbrock 'Hi Flow' intake. Followed by a Centerforce clutch to a T-5 delivering power to a BW 9bolt differential.

Also installed are:
1LE 4-wheel disc brakes with Hawks pads.
Koni single adjustable front struts (just added)
Spohn custom sub-frame connectors welded in
Random Tech adjustable torque arm
Spohn rear lower control arms
Spohn panhard bar (adjustable w/hiem joints)
3" stainless cat-back exhaust ('01 Firebird WS6)
SLP stainless steel headers (Jet-Hot coated)
Griffin race radiator
Earls headered 4 pass oil cooler with SS braided lines
ERS 850lb/" front and 175lb/" rear springs
Hurst shifter
.. and I'm sure a lotta other little things.

Included is a spares package:
L98 350 short block (perf engine)
Aluminum Corvette heads
T-5 trans (approx 60k miles)
Aluminum driveshaft
Complete 10 bolt differential
Second 3rd member for the 9bolt (3:70)
Stock fuel tank and radiator
Complete set of 4 new rotors (front and back)
Complete set of 4 rain tires on crosslaced wheels
and a second set of rain tires (not mounted)

... and lastly, the 2 axle, open centered trailer that has delivered this car to the track.
The full sized store box ccontains:
the car's tie down straps and J-hooks
the loading blocks
and the portable 12v winch.

$5000.00

We'll be at Summit Pt for the Fall Finale (Nov 7th & 8th)
or you can PM me or call me at (301) 466-7883

That is a fantastic deal. If I wasn't saving for a down payment on a house I'd be on it.

nice ride!
how much does she weigh and what are the corner weights?
what seats?
An LS1 t56 swap in that would make for a good combo.
what is the biggest tire you can put on front and back in those stock fenders? 275 fr/ 315 r?
I like 3rd gen hardtops (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The car weighs approx 3200 lbs. I have the corner weights in the spec book that I keep on it. I can dig them out this week-end.

It has the factory (GTA optioned) Recaro seats on both sides. The side bolsters and lumber supports still work.

Yes, the LSX option would be the trick way to go with this car and it has been considered.

I am currently running 275 Hoosiers (all around) on it now with no problem, so a 315 rear should be no problem.

I can't believe this car is still on the market, Mike. So many of us have seen this car at the track and know the car that I have to admit that it is stunning...

Someone buy this car so I can kick myself for not being in a position to do it myself.

There has been some interest, but nothing real serious.

I just keep taking it to the track and having a blast with it.

LOL well if he keeps it long enough I'll be able to swing the deal but right now I need a place to live. The Boss would kill me if I bought a 3rd thirdgen now! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/whip.gif)

Interested. Still for sale? Does it have fuelcell, firesuppression? How much effort to make eligible for AS would you think? Clear title?

I am new to the forum. Is there PMing available on the forum?

Sorry I've not been around as of late. Our company gets really 'busy' at years end so it's been keeping me away. In fact I 've gotta travel this coming Mon thru Weds up to resolve some atuff up in RI.

Aaannnny way, yes, the car is still available. I haven't registered it since '06, but it was a clear title up til then. The trailer has always been registered and it is as an equipment trailer.

It doesn't have a fuel cell or a fire suppression system and in order to make into a legal AS ride, it'd need the rollbar finished into a cage and a racing seat for starters. This car is based on the AS class as far as the suspension and car setup, engine dependability, consistent (and reliable) braking is concerned, but it's use is for driver training and open track events.

As an instructor, I've rented it out to students, as well as taken students for out for track layout and orientation. It was built to be dependable, safe and fun.

Thanks for additional images and info.

Do you have a certificate of title document and the date of manufacture found on the manufacturer label normally on the driver side door jam? This is necessary to export the car through US Customs.

Good luck on travelling to RI tis weekend or on Mon!

Ted
