That is a fantastic deal. If I wasn't saving for a down payment on a house I'd be on it.

nice ride!
how much does she weigh and what are the corner weights? what seats? An LS1 t56 swap in that would make for a good combo. what is the biggest tire you can put on front and back in those stock fenders? 275 fr/ 315 r? I like 3rd gen hardtops (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

The car weighs approx 3200 lbs. I have the corner weights in the spec book that I keep on it. I can dig them out this week-end.
It has the factory (GTA optioned) Recaro seats on both sides. The side bolsters and lumber supports still work. Yes, the LSX option would be the trick way to go with this car and it has been considered. I am currently running 275 Hoosiers (all around) on it now with no problem, so a 315 rear should be no problem. |

I can't believe this car is still on the market, Mike. So many of us have seen this car at the track and know the car that I have to admit that it is stunning...
Someone buy this car so I can kick myself for not being in a position to do it myself. |

There has been some interest, but nothing real serious.
I just keep taking it to the track and having a blast with it. |

Someone buy this car so I can kick myself for not being in a position to do it myself. LOL well if he keeps it long enough I'll be able to swing the deal but right now I need a place to live. The Boss would kill me if I bought a 3rd thirdgen now! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/whip.gif) This post has been edited by 1meanZ: Nov 16 2009, 09:52 PM |

Sorry I've not been around as of late. Our company gets really 'busy' at years end so it's been keeping me away. In fact I 've gotta travel this coming Mon thru Weds up to resolve some atuff up in RI.
Aaannnny way, yes, the car is still available. I haven't registered it since '06, but it was a clear title up til then. The trailer has always been registered and it is as an equipment trailer. It doesn't have a fuel cell or a fire suppression system and in order to make into a legal AS ride, it'd need the rollbar finished into a cage and a racing seat for starters. This car is based on the AS class as far as the suspension and car setup, engine dependability, consistent (and reliable) braking is concerned, but it's use is for driver training and open track events. As an instructor, I've rented it out to students, as well as taken students for out for track layout and orientation. It was built to be dependable, safe and fun. (IMG:http://pf-flyer.com/images/1LE_wheel.jpg) 1LE front brakes (IMG:http://pf-flyer.com/images/IMG_4915_0001.jpg) at VIR a couple of years ago (IMG:http://pf-flyer.com/images/TA_front_springs.jpg) front spring comparison ERS - stock (IMG:http://pf-flyer.com/images/battery_box.jpg) in the rear well |

Do you have a certificate of title document and the date of manufacture found on the manufacturer label normally on the driver side door jam? This is necessary to export the car through US Customs. Good luck on travelling to RI tis weekend or on Mon! Ted |
