I could just check the entry list I guess.

Who is going.

Last I checked there was 170-something signed up. With Sam, Pat, and I in ESP.

I should be there ... I guesstimate the Firebird firing up by Thursday night. I just have to figure out which vacuum hose goes where and not swear too much trying to put the tranny back in. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I'll be there... running.... something. Depending on how much I like the Miata (and how much Telehowski gets on my nerves), I may be in CS or I might taken Grainger up on the TypeR offer. Or maybe something else. I think Brian Flanagan's got a seat open... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

SON OF AAAAAAAA

That red light really sucked. My only good time on the right.
I would have moved up 2.3 seconds and that would have put me ahead of stemler and barely behind Jorgenson.

Did Pat trophy?
If so that's my car's first trophy at a National event. Just didn't have the 'right person' driving it. Dammit. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

On the bright side, even though I'm not were the really fast guys are at, I think with 2.3 seconds knocked off, I'm finally feeling OK about my progress. This was only my 4th event this year (not counting the tire shredder TnT) afterall.

I know, I know excuses, excuses, woulda, coulda, shoulda, and all that shit.

Yeah, Pat got the final trophy position in ESP.

I finished 5th in STS (second to last trophy in that class). What a loooooooong, sleepless weekend!

You missed Sammy vs. the Start Lights. I'll let you figure out who won. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Yeah, you're car officially "Got Cotton." (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Although it's just an "L" T-shirt, which won't fit me ... or you for that matter. Heck, I don't think an "L" would fit a single ESP driver!

Oh and thanks to Lonnie for letting me rag on his Camaro this weekend. His car is a blast to drive and pretty easy to get a hang of. With a set of Hoosiers, even that Strano guy might be sweating more than a guy who drove over the timing beams at the starting line during a Super Challenge round. You're *soooo* funny............. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Okay, I hit the beams, but they had it comin'!!!!!!!!! Might as well post this here too then, just so folks know what you're babbling about.

I had some um.... "issues" with some front control arm bushings during the Pro. I didn't discover them until after runs on Saturday afternoon. So my first thanks go out to Charles Moss, Marcus Merideth, and Mark Jorgensen who offered up their cars for us on Sunday. It's nice when your competitors would rather help you out rather than make you suffer. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Second thanks go out to Lee Franz and Lonnie Bright. Turns out Lee had some brand new 1LE front control arms @ his house. These things are discontinued, and yet he offered them up for our use. And both Lonnie and Lee helped me install them starting about 7:15 AM Sunday Morning. We were done and driving the car by the time Group 3 cars pulled to the line. Awesome job, and couldn't have done it without your help guys!

Now for the I'm sorry part. For those that don't know, you will, so I'm going to preemptively strike. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It seems the computer didn't like my Dial-in time for the Challenge. Two rounds in a row I sat there as the other side took off, and my tree never came down. The second time had me a little flustered. The decision was made to pull us (Jeff Jacobs and I) out to let Jeff's tires cool a bit. I can't see real well out the back of my car with the seat I use and the fact I push my mirror out of the way. I chose to just turn out of the stage lane. I looked for the wires and the finish lights to make sure I didn't hit them. Trouble is, I couldn't see the start trips, and the start line was angled too, and there weren't any big green cones as usual. Basically, I never saw them and ran them over turning out. Embarrassing to say the least, I wanted to die. I guess there is no redundant system, so out came Cliff with Duct Tape. And I'll be damned if they didn't get it fixed! So I'm sorry to Cliff, Tasha, Sandy, Kevin, Bob, Brian, Lee, Jerry, GH, Jeff, Junior, the course workers and all the others who got held up waiting to fix my mess up. And to those who who came by and told me that it could happen to anyone, I appreciate it. Made me feel a little less stupid. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
