Hey all,
While engine is being built I'm going to get the roll cage completed also. I currently have an ERW 1 3/4 .120 8 point cage installed back in 2000. Ran 1 HPDE with it under NASA. I assume this thing needs to be cut out. If so, Should I buy a pre bent cage or have it built to fit? 60 ft. of DOM is $385 here in Chattanooga. A prefabbed one online cage is around 650 shipped. I noticed a number of different styles of cages installed. Is there one install that is better than another? I have a 85 Iroc hard top. I noticed the roll cage in 1meanZ's car in which had 3 bars tied to the middle hump in the back set area. Is this a good hookup? Also, Is it difficult to take out the dash board? Or can I bend the bar down in front of the dash area and run it down in front to the bottom plate. Any advise or recommendations or pics would be nice. Thanks
