Video from my GoPro mounted on the dash of 1 lap around Watkins Glen with Trackmasters. Just thought I would share if anyone wanted to check out the track.

That was a great video. Awesome track, but you sure don't want to go off at all, huh? How'd you mount the GoPro?

WGI is an awesome track, if you ever get the chance I recommend running it. As far as "excursions" there are some decent run-off areas, but there are also some places that you probably would prefer to stay on the track (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

The goPro was mounted on the dash with an adhesive clip. I have other videos with it mounted on the roll cage - both inside the car and over my left shoulder (sticking outside the car slightly). I migth post some of the other views but it just takes a little time (and PC processing power) since the original videos are in 1080P resolution. A 20min video ends up being like 2-2.5Gig.

I'm starting to like the over the left shoulder idea. Mounting it on the harness bar just takes away from the experience. Makes it like you're going 40 MPH around the track. I mounted mine on the chin of my helmet, which really gives the sense of speed, but it's a little low.

I never thought I'd like it mounted on the dash, but your video changed my mind. Looks great!

I'll definitely try to get to WGI someday. Thanks for the video.
