Last month I had a passenger, full interior, and crappy street tires. I ran a 2:25. This time I had NT-01's, no interior, and no passenger. What a difference! I knocked 10 seconds off my time, and this was with brakes that were shot.

I'm getting faster, and able to push the car and myself more and more while still being consistent. Still a lot more left on the table though.

You mean the extra concrete on the other side of the curbing? Yeah, I noticed that and didn't remember it being like that. July 4th was my first time back to VIR in years, so they must have changed it. I try to stay off the curbs, but going up the esses I always nail the first one on the right. Seems like everyone does, so that's why they added some width to it.

There are several other places on the track with curbs like that, if not everyone. It is nice to have concrete there in case you cut it too much, instead of hitting dirt.

I guess I don't remember the old one well enough to tell a difference. All I know is that they are there (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
