I am looking for OEM '98 or '99 front and rear springs from/for a '98 or '99 SS, 1LE or WS6, PNs 22132887 and 22132889 (need to have labels).
Also need a perfect upper console for an M6. Last thing I need is the rubber torque arm bushing that fits in the clamshell on the transmission. Prefer DFW but willing to pay shipping for fairly priced nice parts. I am not interested in anything aftermarket. This post has been edited by 98_1LE: Mar 22 2012, 05:23 PM |

Not local but I have two sets of front and rear springs, unsure the numbers on the label. One set is off my 98SS, the other off an 02 anniversary; I will post pictures tonight when I get home.

Still looking for all four springs, rear LCA's and PHB, and front upper LCA's. Oh and front shocks (the 1LE Koni's).

Still looking for all four springs, rear LCA's, and front upper LCA's. I have the rear springs, PHB and many other original parts off my wrecked '98 1LE Z28. I think I have the front springs and other parts on a GC setup out in the barn. I am located in Southeast Texas. PM me with offer and contact info. Tony99SS |

Still looking for all four springs, rear LCA's, and front upper LCA's. By front upper LCA, do you mean front upper control arm? I have those as well from the 98 1LE, although I am 99% sure there is no difference to the stock part. I have only one of the rear LCAs left. I used the other as a temporary replacement to a broken aftermarket part (BMR) but ended up selling the TA with it still on. I really need to go through my cache and offer all that stuff for sale-not doing any good here, and I need the space and the money. Tony This post has been edited by Tony99SS: Apr 24 2012, 05:12 PM |

Sent you a PM. Also have a low miles Torque Arm bushing in the clamshell from 99SS.
Apparantly my last PM was not sent-probably my clumsy fingers.. Sorry about that. Tony |

If Tony can't get you everything you need, I may have the front springs. I am actually surprised I don't have the full set from my 98 1LE but apparently I let them go to someone.
I do know I have the front DA Koni's (I actually prefer the SAs which are on the car). I suspect I also have the rear Koni's that came with the car although them may be on the car (which has 66,000 miles on it). If so I do have a spare set I can put on in case my spare rears are not the 1LE part number. I do have the front DA Koni's assembled with the top hat and ready to install so you don't have to fight that normally frozen nut on the top. The moving van just picked this stuff up Tuesday and has not yet delivered it so it may be a week or so. What I am uncertain of is what springs are assembled with the DAs. Most likely Eibach Pro Kits but there is an outside possibility the 1LE springs are on the shocks. The DA Koni's don't have many miles on them as I put the SAs on pretty soon after I bought the 98. I presume you are running stock or SP or restoring your car so need the originals. Perry |

Thanks. I have everything I need now, I think. I'd like to find NOS front UCA's but got a used set from Tony. I am restoring a car BTW.
If you have the original springs, I would be interested in the part numbers. The "book" has always listed 22132887 for 1998 1LE front spring, however my old 1998 1LE Z28 had the 22132561 front spring, technically correct for 94-97. The springs I got from Tony, also from a 1998 1LE Z28, were also the 2561 P/N (albeit very hard to make out). So I am wondering if the 887 spring, or 2561, is correct for a 1998 1LE WS6. I am leaning towards the 2561's, and since I have 3 pairs of them, sure hope so. |

My garage stuff is still on a truck coming over here. So I can't get at the springs to check them. I will do that when they arrive.
Isn't there a repository for the old F-body.org FAQ somewhere online? I believe that had the part nos that were different. I deleted the bookmark to it some years ago. Perry |

Here you go.
http://www.f-body.org/faq/4/4_1.htm#ch4_1j Whoops, I see that was written in the old Rob Glover days before the LS1s came out. Perry This post has been edited by pkincy: May 29 2012, 11:25 PM |

I do know that my 94 1LE had different part nos on the springs than the 98 1LE.

I have the original springs off of my 99 SS that I just took off the car. If you still need let me know. I can get pictures of the tags if want.
