The local DFW Z club (Z as in 240, 260, 300, 350) is hosting an open track day September 12th.

www.zcluboftexas.org

It's about 300 miles from my house to Hallett and I am giving it serious thought.

Any of you guys, that live close enough, want to meet up there and have a official FRRAX GTG 1?

This is EXTREMELY tempting. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Unfortunately financial woes have shut down even my autocrossing for the year. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I'm out there all the time. Unfortunately, that is my wife's birthday so I doubt I'll be going out for that event. Besides, their cost is kind of high, normal High Speed Touring (1 weekend a month) is only $75/day, and we often have private days during the week for $90/day. The private days are nice because we limit it to 20 cars total (5 cars per session). Go to www.greencountrymotorsports.com to keep an eye on private events (and I'll start posting them in the event section).

NASA is having a race in August there. Plenty of seat time. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I'd love to go, but I'll be in Vegas from the 11-14 of September.

I'd be interested in going to one of the lower cost events that LT4Firehawk mentioned.
