I think Jon A has the book. It looks very technical.

The books are also available through the SAE. They are expensive, but they're very similar to college level textbooks. Remember how expensive they were?

University was expensive on books... don't remind me.
I'm just not ready to dish that much $ on them and not have some garantee that they are worth it.
I have an engineering background, started in mechanical and then went into the electronics/software.

i always hear the Milliken book refered to as the 'bible', so i woud assume it to be a good one.

It is on my list too, but right now, i can't even swing a set of brake pads, let alone a book.

If you become an SAE member then you can get the books cheaper, member ship does cost $100 a year. If you are in the industry any it will be worth while... now that I think about it, if you are in the industry you should be a member already!! In the 2004 motorsports catalog the text book is going for $100 and the solutions manual is $70, get both for $150 plus $12 shipping based on price. You can get another 20% off if you spend more than $500!!! Add tax if you live in CA/DC/FL/MI/PA.

After looking at Amazon's page, you will only save $20 with SAE if you buy both books.

But I need a steering box, money, tires, more money, and header gaskets.

For reference, go to corner carvers and search on Milliken. Do a little reading. Milliken is one of the best books out there if you really want to learn about suspensions. I scanned it since we have a copy at work, but I'm just not that interested in learning all the equations behind suspension operation and design.

Why not... that's the fun part of it (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
