So, I take it Lou is trying to sell some headers?

What's the scoop on the drivers having a little conference with the rules makers before the race? I haven't seen anything on it since the race.

Cool pics...I think I'll save a few!

I was doing my best to catch most of the action between fiddling w/ the car. I was disapointed to see Lou in the pits overheating,I really wanted him to do alright.I rarely have been able to catch these races it was nice to see some.I did not catch the rest of the race, where'd he place.

And that new Aston Martin DBR-9 OMG that looks sweet. Cant wait to see it in race trim (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

That earnhardt deal stinks too, tough break. But I like Jimmy Johnson so this could be a mixed blessing. But still don't wish that on anyone, hope he will be out next weekend to TRY and beat Jimmy for 1st in standings.

Lou's little 'shove' on the 911 car probably caused some ventilation mis-alignment at the radiator. He finished in 20th, just ahead of our 23rd place finish after our spin and contact early in the race.

Mike - it was determined that the rule changes were concieved several weeks before they were even announced them (as they appeared in print in AutoWeek) and so there was no going back on them before the race. They all (sorta) agreed to see how it would play out.

Yeah the shove @ T2 ooops. Thats stinks 20th hope I can catch another race later. So your apart of Tigers team? Nice paint I have seen that car before in other races.

I like T2 @ Sears do that pretty good,T3 and 4,5 for some reason I have probs with going into 6 always messed up entry and screwed carrasell speed and never can get on the power w/o push till the exit.I sure would like to get some more time there in my new car (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) . Alot of that track (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) makes me nervous. I hate walls and T1 with that darn pit exit (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I hate that. I have seen a new Porsche swap ends near there slide sideways all the way to the inside under Ped bridge mangled.
I'd like to run the Nascar coarse once that'd be cool.

Tony

Tony - I crew for the Tiger Racing Team, when I can due to my day job. I usually end up at all the East Coast stuff, especially the season opener at Sebring.

Plus I buy all my parts thru them, go up to get work done our cars, as Tom Oates Chevrolet still services and maintains quite a few SCCA T1, T2 and A/S cars in their Performance shop. Many that they originally built. Most of us members of LoCash Racing get all the hi-performance work done our cars their, as they cater to that kind of driver. Just about any 'regular' dealership won't touch a car with a rollcage, or asking for a performance alignment. Tom's shop does that stuff and more. Head and cams, T2R installs, performance tuning (dyno tuning at Pheonix Performance). It's a mecca for performance cars in that area.

Mike, sounds like a cool dealership. I need to find a shop like that in my area. For now, I'm at a point where I'd rather pay someone else that I would trust to work on my car rather than spend the time myself.
