We need to reserve a URL for the site, let me have your suggestions.

fbodyracing.com is already taken, however fbodyracing.net is not. I prefer a .com since 99% of people will think of that insteat of .net if they forget the exact address.

That's sort of a generic name though, and does not tell the surfer exactly what this board is about. So what ideas do you guys have?

How about something simple like fbodyaxrr.com ? I think the Mustang guys have an email list titled something like that. You could also do fbodycc.com. We could mooch off the Corner Carvers initials. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I like the fbodycc.com idea but I think we would need to get Jon A to ask permission of the site owners at Corner Carvers before we rip off their name.

I've been abbreviating it as RRAX just for myself. So we could do fbodyRRAX.com ??

I don’t think the name has to be cute or catchy, just easy to remember, easy to type, and easy to pronounce wouldn’t hurt.

FRRAX.com would be easy to pronounce and easy to type.
FbodyRRAX.com might be the most descriptive.
FbodyCC.com is the most appealing to me, but it’s a little bit “inside”.
FCC.com is available, and would probably get us tons of hits from people looking for fcc.gov, but I don’t like the pronounciation. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Somewhere I recall someone suggesting a site that was a little ore open than LS1.com and a little more laid back than CC.com ... kind of a Corner Carvers Lite

so, how about cclite.com

frrax.com is good too ...

fcc.com would be just wrong ... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I like cclite.com best so far. So I checked, and it is already in use by a Korean agency. FRRAX.com is good. So is fbodycc.com.

If someone really feels passionate about their preference, why don't you tell us, and let's just use that.

I like frrax.com so far as well, primarily because it can be pronounced verbally (fracks dot com).

OOPS! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Sorry Mike.....and the large group of other Firebird racers.....as a lifelong Camaro lover, I rarely think of the "other" fbody. My bad! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I don't like the "axrr" names...worked in TOO MANY companies where EVERYTHING had an acronym name and it gets to be a bad joke after awhile....

How about:

fbodyracers.com

is this site only ever going to be for f-bodies?
even if it is, you could always attract people wanting more 'generic' info with a broader name.

My opinion is this board should at least begin as tailored to the F bodies. If you want generic info there are other boards out there, like corner carvers. As a matter of fact I believe corner carvers started because many Mustang owners from the corral got frustrated with that board and wanted to start their own road racing board. Sound familiar?

Mike, thanks for saying that. I feel exactly the same way.
