I never autocrossed in this car. Selling to pay for college and money to build a car from gound up.
People always say thier car is in perfect condition and what not, they say never driven in rain or winter and when u look at it, you are often disapointed. I assure u that this car is VERY clean and fun to drive.

Guys, if any of you are interested and just want a local set of eyes to look the car over, I can do it. It should only be a very few miles away from me.

I'm getting the itch to get something else to drive on the street every day again and would love to have another F body but it's just not practical for me right now.

it is definetly a fun car to bump around on the street with. Also all mods on car were done at 30,000 miles in winter of 2002 so low miles on all the new stuff

Nobody this is the forum to post this baby on. Where are all the hits. The price is very acceptable if you saw the car.

another way to see them is on autotrader. The car is listed under 98 chevrelet camaro type in 14,000-15000 for price range and you will bring it up.

just a word of advice. where ever youve posted your ad you might want to say why the tranny was rebuilt. its a little fishy when the topic title says never abused yet the tranny was rebuilt at 32k miles. a lot of us have over 100k on our original trannies. its just an observation that might help you sell the car.

Are there any of you regulars near Troy MI who would consider checking this car over for me?

I've PM'd the owner with an offer, but it is obviously tentative. I would need to hear an unbiased assessment of it's condition as well as the accuracy of the facts stated in the ad(s).

Yall haven't seen either of my F-Bodies (unless you are Mitch or Steve) but I am an absolute anal-retentive fanatic about the Camaro. The TA less so, I thrash on it pretty hard. I believe in driving the hell out of what I'm in, but that is offset by ridiculous attention to detail, frequent servicing, and preventive maintainance. The point is that I don't want to fly to Michigan to buy a hastily detailed but basically average car.

Details and even a few pics would be greatly appreciated and even remunerated if necessary.

Thanks in Advance
Tony

Tony,

Why don't you PM mike (94 bird) and Argon Z and see if Mike can make arrangements to go look the car over for you. I'm just a few hours too far away or I'd go do it. If Mike is willing to do it for you, I'd take him up on the offer and if Argon wants to sell it, I'm sure he will as well. I'd love to see it go to a good home.

Trackbird,
Mike (94Bird) has already looked at the car for me and sent me several megs of digital photos. We were well along with this process, I thought, But ArgonZ perhaps doubts I am serious?

Should I send him a digital photo of the money? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

No problem! I had a sudden fear that the car would be sold out from under me for want of a carfax!

Any Ideas for must-see sights southbound from Detroit to East Texas within the next week or so?
