It appears that my 16" rims are about to become too small for my car. So, does anyone need a set of 16" alloy rims (no tires, but I may be able to locate some used Hoosiers for them....not sure yet) off of my 2002 Z-28. They are straight and undamaged, however, they have been "Carbo-coated" with brake dust from Carbotech Panther Plus pads. It may come off with a little work (some of it will flake off), but I've not tried. These are not going to win you any shows (who here cares about that?), as they have developed a pateen. However, they will get you around the track very well.

$150 o.b.o. (reasonable, or even unresonable, offers?)

Hows about you give up on selling the 16", and I grab the brakes instead? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Ahhh...no can do my friend. Sorry.

Need wheels?

I may have a set of LS1 brakes for sale soon (Hawk HP+ pads and Brembo OEM rotors). Have you done the upgrade?

Derf,

I've got one person in line in front of you. If that changes, I'll drop you a line. You might send me a reminder PM (I'll leave it in the box until I know the scoop and get back to you).

Kevin

Hey man! It's Erick, I talked to you today and bought those tires off of Bill. I may be interested in your wheels, are they silver (or where they, lol)? I have a project in mind and I may just use those tires I bought today. BTW, I posted my 1LE, check it out! Nice talkin to you today, I'll let you know if I'm interested here in a day or 2 if you still have them.
Thanks

They were silver..... They have a pretty good coating of brake dust. If you want to take a look at them, let me know.

Welcome aboard!!!

UPDATE:

Ok. I started to refinish them. So, one is charcoal (I may paint more) and they could use a good sandblasting. As I said, beater track rims. I also have a set of BF goodrich "previously R compounds" for them (they were R compounds, but they are a few years old and may be more like an "L" compound now, maybe even a "G" these days. They have some life left in them - good tires to wear out open tracking). The tires are not mounted on the wheels.

$125 for all of it?
