Uh oh. I was considering ARP wheel studs. How much are the GM version? Did you need that Koni bump stop part number? And, did you say that you have a TCS rear in that car? (I forget).
I'd put some fiberglass or at least undercoating over/in the hole where you cut off the stops. Looks good! I guess this means that your cross threaded stud is no longer an issue? |

The part number is 22551491. They were in town and no wait. No TCS in the car. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Fiberglass? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I painted it.. I'll finish everything with underbody when I roll the fenders. The cross threaded stud is right there on the ground. When I put in my studs (arp) I had to pull the axles, that really pissed me off since I had just changed the diff fluid about 500 miles back.
I don't have problems with my zr1 wheels and the bumpstops. I ran them a bit, then hit the shiny areas in the wheel well where rubbing occured with a bfh. Painted the shiny areas black, and repeated until shiny areas did not return. Will see when the 11 inch fronts arrive. |

I like the fact that the studs are nut starters, but those are REALLY long. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
