I'm still looking for a set of either 5-spoke GM SS wheels (non-chrome), ZR1s/CE/Z06 fronts, or possibly another 9.5 like AFS with the 50 or 56mm offsets.
These are for the race track, so I'm not interested in "perfect" wheels, just not bent. I'm trying to be cheap about it too, like $250-$300/set - max like $400 including shipping if necessary. I'll consider pairs also. Thanks |

Hmmm, outta curiousity - do '96 wheels have the correct offset and backspacing for a '99 car?
It's outta my budget range after shipping. |

Im sure there the same offset. I do know they are 17"x 9.5". (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Where do you live? |

Are your rims actually 17x9.5 fronts off a 1996 Corvette Grand Sport (black) or a 1996 Corvette Collectors Edition (silver)?, rather than a Camaro SS?
If they are GS or CE wheels they will fit. If they are factory GM wheels, you should find an imprint in the back of one of the 5 spokes that says something like "17x9J 50" - which I've typically seen on the SS wheels. Not sure what the imprint in the vette wheels says, but I'll look at one tonight (possibly says 17x9.5 56) What imprint code is on the backs of all 4? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm in Dallas. If it's a full set of 9.5s we may be able to work something out. |
