Can you guys change the minimum length for search terms from 4 characters to 3? There are a lot of searches that can't be done because of this limitation. For example: lt1, ls1, cmc, esp

It is not something I've found access to change in the board software. I'll take another look, but it seems to have been set by the programmer. |

Have you checked with Invision, or in their support forums? Even if they didn't make it user configurable, it would probably be an easy change to make in the code.

I will send a message to my hosting account. We get the software free with the hosting account (no $199 lifetime or $69 per year fee). So, I'm a customer, but I'm not sure I'm a customer. Did that make sense? Let me do some digging.

Hey, I just thought I should update this thread. I did reset the minimum search length to 3 letters some time ago, but I forgot to post that it was changed. So, for anyone who was wondering, the minimum length is 3 letters now for a search.
