I really don't understand why Lou is so reluctant to keep these in stock. When they were listed on his website it always seemed like demand exceeded supply, and used sets get snatched up quick at nearly-new prices (and I don't just mean THAT set (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )

I'm sure steel prices have cut into the profit margin for springs, though, and they are bulky and heavy inventory for the price.

Since the aluminum stuff is on sale too (10%), I'll point out that the aluminum LCAs and PHR are not (last time I looked) on the website - you have to call.

Guess I'll have to tell the Wife I'll be spending more money on the car after putting the 396 in this fall (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif)

Steve,

ALL my suspension parts are RED except for my boxed SFC's, which I didn't want sticking out in Red. Do you have the black lowers yet?---B/C Mitchntx is selling a set of black lowers. I hope we meet up sometime next season so we can check out each others cars again......lots of changes to both of since we last met.

I guess it depends upon the shade of red we're talking about and your car color since the unibody often is the color of the car underneath. Red does clash with some colors so I suggest you consult with Christopher Lowell before you buy any suspension parts. I'm sure TLC has some makeover shows that could give you guys some ideas. You might also try renting thje fast and the furious 2 for the latest in automotive fashion/style.

See, what happens if all the reds are different colors? I mean slightly. How can I drive a car with 12 shades of red on the chassis? It will look like a rack of lipstick.

True the monochromatic look is worth considering.

I just like red suspension parts better than black. They are all under the car anyway, so it really doesn't matter. There has not been a SINGLE thing added on the outside for looks. It MUST have function.

Since my car is black, I generally prefer to keep it simple and black, though red would look good too. However, that silvery gray LG PHR with red anodized ends is awful purty - probably the nicest looking thing on the car. However, the polished Magnaflow next to it looks downright gaudy IMHO.

Luckily people don't slide mirrors under the tail too often at an autocross (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I think Lou got enough orders on the G2 springs. I don't know when the cutoff is, but if you want in I'd do it quick.

I saw that too, but I also read that parts were expected to be in custoomers hands by Christmas. Maybe when it got close Lou went ahead and placed the order with some extras. At any rate, for anyone in the market, carpe diem.

I was in on the GP and they told me mine are shipping next week. May not get them before Xmas, but it'll be here the week after for sure (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Well, despite what I said before, I couldn't resist ordering up a set as well. Sam's probably right, but I figured it couldn't hurt to give them a try with the stock rear bar. Check the classifieds section around June if you miss this GP. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
