If this was a hardtop, I'd buy it for a race car project. A few reasons. Who can argue with racing a car that color of ugly (it will stand out, perfect for sponsors). And, I'd sell the wheels and stereo to pay for the car. Buy it, strip it, sell the leftovers, pay $350 for the car after selling the "rest" of it.

Here it is for your viewing pleasure. (This car was sitting by my house in a plaza with a sign in it this summer, I know I've seen this one in person).

If it were a hardtop, I'm telling you I'd be "there". I'm sure I could pay for it from ebay sales of the pimpy parts.

Here's a close second.

... if someone is actually looking for a project car, here's YOUR CAR. This one is in central NC and he's asking 2500 bux.

I'm looking, or starting to look. I at considering the AV8SS class. The organizers want more GM cars out there, I'm considering helping with that.

#2 is a hardtop. I'd do it too (if I can't find a better body donor).

Running around a road course with "dubs" would be real cool. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I've never had to "true" a wheel during a pit stop before. Is it normal to keep a spoke wrench in the pit box???

Nah, Kevin. You don't want a car like that. You want one that's already race legal, and only needs you to decide what kind of engine you want to complete for it. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Oooooh, it has "Cd Woofers And Amp"! Think of all the money you can save on engine work - just make a CD of cool engine sounds to play as you cruise ... maybe record the fart pipes on a Honda ....

Have you ever heard the CD "Open Pipe Symphony"?

That's all I need. I can vibrate the competition off of the track.

No, but if it's "real" motors I may have to get it (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It is. I believe it's a "fuel" event at a drag strip and some "indy" cars or F1. It's pretty neat.

One thing that constantly cracks me up about car commercials on TV is the sound that is coming out of my TV speakers! If these cars and trucks are actually making these sounds out of their tailpipes I'd love to see under their hoods! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
