Rob, the new differentials are in. I managed to get Torsen to send prototypes of several new versions of the T2R for us to try. You get first pick.

This version is supposed to be really good on rough tracks. The apps engineer said it was really effective in the "rocks", but I'm fairly sure he meant "marbles".

This version is supposed to be really good down the straights.

Seriously, "they're here"! Now if it would just warm up a bit ...

Well, it turns out there really is a spool and locker thread in the AX/RR/OT/TT forum on ls1.com (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I didn't know that when I started this thread, but ....

Nick AFAIK there aint' any new T2R's.

Rob posted about Sean buying one for both of them when they were in. (Rob's a student and couldn't swing the cost at the time).
Since they compete against each other well.......This is the result.

Guys I think I'd take the mini spool over the lock-right

Yeah, 94bird made a comment suggesting that I might "modify" Rob's differential before he gets it, and I ran with the idea. Just kidding, though.

Rob is moving from SM to ESP this year (demodding a bit). He has more camber, and I've got more horsepower. Last year he was faster than me at some events and I was faster than him at other events. So, hopefully it will be a season of good close competition (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

See, you all have to watch the joking..... This is the problem with the internet, something looks serious and next thing you know it's gospel. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

C'mon guys if you look at the picture you can tell it's a spool and a locker-not a gleason/torsen type diff. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
